Continuous Reconstruction is a newsletter by me, Rob Spiro, with brief essays about Innovation & Positive Impact.

I am an entrepreneur. I started my career in Silicon Valley, where I was the cofounder of a startup called Aardvark in 2007 (acquired by Google), then a product manager at Google, then the cofounder & CEO of Good Eggs in 2011.

Now living in Western France, I am the founder and director of Imagination Machine, a startup studio for good. We create new companies with the objective of having positive social & environmental impact. Since starting at the end of 2017, we have created about ten companies.

During these past fifteen years of work I’ve learned a few things about the quest to make the world a better place, specifically using technology and capitalism. I remain confused much of the time, but occasionally I have a clear thought, and when I do I’ll write a note here.

I invite you to sign up to follow along, and I would be thrilled if you commented, replied, and otherwise participated in the conversation!
